BC Burn Fund

The PCPFCS is proud to support the BC Professional Firefighters Association Burn Fund. This organization has been working since the 1970's to provide life saving, life supporting and life enriching services to them, and works to save all British Columbians from a similar trauma. We support them in their journey to help burn survivors and their families, including Bright Nights in Stanley Park and Burn Camp every year. This camp hosts children from across the province for a week every summer and is an amazing opportunity for everyone involved!

Bright Nights in Stanley Park

Every year, we volunteer our time to set-up, take-down and run operations for the Bright Nights in Stanley Park which provides essential funding for the BC Burn Fund, including Burn Camp!

BC Burn Camp
The members of Local 1941 are honoured to be selected to be a part of BC Burn Camp. Burn Camp hosts young burn survivors for one week of camp each July at the Cheakamus Centre in Paradise Valley.  Over one thousand children from across BC between the ages of 6 to 18 have attended since 1994. The camp provides young burn survivors with an opportunity to share experiences with their peers.
Thank you BC Burn Fund!
