Port Coquitlam Professional Firefighters Charitable Society Gives Back
Part of being a member of Local 1941 means helping others
The PCPFCS offers several ways to help in terms of financial donations from members of the public. This support is very much appreciated and the funds are put directly into helping the community. All donations receive a tax-deductible Charitable Receipt and we thank you in advance for your donation.
We're so pleased to announce our 7th Annual Charity Gala is happening on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Show Theatre at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. We are partnering with the Coquitlam Firefighter's Charitable Society to bring you this signature event which raises money for our nutritional snack program and other charitable activities.

News and Updates
The first installment was $15,000 and helped out hundreds of people in our community.
The second installment is $7500; grant money we received to help Birchland, James Park, Central and Kilmer Elementary Schools.
Our Charitable Society is currently running a new food voucher initiative designed to provide continuing support for our Elementary School Breakfast Programs currently on hold due to COVID-19. This new program works with school principals, administrators, teachers and youth workers from Central, Birchland, James Park and Kilmer Elementary Schools, who give out these food vouchers to children and their families who are in need while they are home schooling. These vouchers can then be redeemed at both Save On Food locations in Port Coquitlam for food only.
The PCPFCS School Food Voucher Program is supported by the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and Port Coquitlam Community Foundation.
Community Savings is celebrating their 75th anniversary and they have generously donated $750 to the Poco Firefighters Charitable Society.
